Yeon-Lab is an independent creative studio based in Italy, producing artworks and art prints for interior design.
Yeon-Lab was born from the meeting of a love for art, a passion for travel, and a deep fascination with East Asia with the desire to bring into everyday spaces the same calm and harmony that breathes through its landscapes and atmospheres.
The name Yeon-Lab captures the essence of the project. Yeon, a word found across several East Asian cultures, evokes the idea of connection, encounter and bond between places, people and emotions: those invisible threads that form while travelling and stay with us long after we return. Lab, on the other hand, represents a creative space in constant evolution, a visual laboratory where memories, images and impressions are transformed into artworks capable of living within everyday environments.
Yeon-Lab becomes the meeting point between travel, memory and artistic creation: a place where distant atmospheres are transformed into images that accompany daily life.
Our works draw inspiration from the visual traditions of Korea, Japan and China, reinterpreted through a contemporary and minimal style.
Every image is designed to transform a wall into a breathing space one that conveys balance and serenity, while evoking the gentle nostalgia of distant places and travel memories.
Yeon-Lab artworks are born from a human artistic process: the digital is a creative tool, not a replacement for the artist. Some works are created by hand in watercolour, while others take shape from photographs taken during travels and subsequently reinterpreted to preserve their emotion and transform them into timeless scenes.
We believe art should not remain confined to galleries, but become part of the home: above a sofa, beside a bed, in a study or a quiet corner. Our works are designed to integrate with elegance into modern interiors, enhancing spaces without overwhelming them.
We produce every print on demand through professional printing partners, avoiding waste and overproduction. Each artwork is made to order, ensuring quality and reducing unnecessary production. We use materials from responsible supply chains to minimise environmental impact and maintain a more sustainable approach.
